<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface arrangement with a help function with easy operation menu selection capable of suppressing operational mistakes. <P>SOLUTION: In the user interface arrangement, an operator selects a desired operation menu item from a hierarchized operation menu in accordance with vocal guidance to operate an electronic apparatus. It is provided with an operation menu speech output means 1 for outputting the operation menu by speech, an operation menu moving means 2 for moving the operation menu in the hierarchized operation menu, an operation menu selection means 2 for selecting the operation menu desired by the operator, a help designating means 2 for designating an operation menu which the operator wants to know about, and a help speech output means 1 for outputting a descriptive text of the operation menu designated by the help designating means 2 by speech. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
