DEVICE FOR AUTOMATICALLY CHANGING PALLETS IN MACHINING CENTER

PURPOSE: An automatic pallet changer of a machining center is provided to reduce the exchange time by minimizing a mis-operation of the pallet change. CONSTITUTION: A center shaft is raised and rotated by integrating with a change arm(10) to exchange a pallet(70). A ball bearing and a needle bearing support the rotation and the lift of the center shaft by installing in the upper part and the lower part of the center shaft. A lifting cylinder lifts the center shaft through the selective feed of hydraulic pressure by installing in the outer circumference of the center shaft. A housing(20) is located in the upper center of the change arm and fixed with the center shaft in the lower center integrally. A pinion is formed in the lower outer circumference of the center shaft. A pair of rack cylinders(60) are installed in both lower parts of the center shaft. A rack rotates the pinion and the center shaft according to the selective feed of the hydraulic pressure into each rack cylinder by combining with each rack cylinder and gearing with the pinion. Thereby, the exchange time of a pallet is minimized and the mis-operation of the arm is prevented.
