<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional code reading device capable of dividing an information recording area into a plurality of areas, and dividing the information for each area to express a two-dimensional code, and selecting an arbitrary area from among the plurality of areas of the two-dimensional code to read the information, and holding the secrecy of the information of the specific area. <P>SOLUTION: A trigger switch or predetermined voice input is considered as a trigger to start a reading operation, and the image of a two-dimensional code is read (S2).
