PURPOSE: Structure of a gas passage of a stage-controlled valve for a gas appliance is provided to conveniently control the amount of the gas supplied to a burner inside a main body via a safety unit and to improve maintainability and mountability. CONSTITUTION: A stage-controlled valve comprises a main body(10) having a gas passage and a safety unit controlling the movement direction of the gas through the gas passage. A movement hole is formed in the upper portion of the main body. An operation hole(15) is formed in the upper portion of the movement hole. A communication hole(16) is formed in the operation hole. A guide groove is formed at a lower portion of a gas discharge part(12). A discharge hole(18) is formed in the end portion of the guide groove.
