<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize capacities of a solar battery P and a battery B for the electric source of a street light, and also to provide a street right therewith. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting control method of street lights comprises a battery B charged by a solar battery P, Light Emitting Diodes LD, LD etc. connected to the battery B through a switching device SW, and a control circuit 10.
