PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to prevent an opening and shutting member from separating from a main body. CONSTITUTION: A main body has a suction port for sucking air in. An opening and shutting member(20) is installed in the main body for moving backward and forward to open and shut the suction port. A transfer device moves the opening and shutting member backward and forward. A guide member(40) is extended from the opening and shutting member to be moved together with the opening and shutting member. A guide slot(18) is extended from the main body to guide the guide member. Guide protrusions(41,42) are inserted into the guide slot to guide the guide member by the guide slot. A fixing groove is formed in the middle of the guide protrusions to prevent the guide member from separating from the guide slot. A fixing protrusion(18a) is formed at the guide slot to be fixed by the fixing groove.
