PURPOSE: A method for identifying a terminal and processing an error in a TVRS(Text and Voice Response System) is provided to identify whether a user terminal is capable of performing an SMS, and to identify a type of the terminal, thereby supplying various high-quality services and processing a transmission error. CONSTITUTION: When a call between a TVRS server and a terminal is open(S81), the TVRS server transmits a terminal acknowledgement signal to the terminal(S82). The TVRS server confirms whether the terminal responds to the terminal acknowledgement signal(S83). If not, the TVRS server supplies a voice service only(S84). If the terminal responds to the signal, the TVRS server transmits a terminal acknowledgement message to the terminal(S85). The terminal transmits a designated value in accordance with a self model type to the TVRS server. The TVRS server receives a terminal response message(S86). |
