FIELD: powder metallurgy, possibly manufacture of cutters, drills grinding discs and so on. ^ SUBSTANCE: process comprises steps of preparing a set of separate blocks of matrix material capable for sintering; arranging blocks closely one near other for forming assembly of blocks in form for sintering them. Assembly includes a set of blocks placed at least in one direction. Assembly of blocks is sintered under pressure in form for making one-piece sintered article. Blocks may include abrasive particles.
