PURPOSE: An air purifier is provided which prevents filters installed in the main body from moving in the main body. CONSTITUTION: The air purifier comprises a main body for forming an external shape; filters(31,32) installed in the main body to separate foreign materials from air flown in the main body; a filter case which is installed in the main body so that the filters are attached to or detached from the filter case as the filters are being advanced or retreated in the filter case; and filter supporting members(40) installed at the filters or the filter case so that the filters are separated from the filter case only when more than a certain force is applied to the filters, wherein the filter supporting members are extended to a certain length from one of the filters or the filter case, supporting protrusions(41) are projectingly formed at an inner end part of the filter supporting members to support the other one of the filters or the filter case, and supporting grooves(35) are formed on the other one of the filters or the filter case so that the supporting protrusions are inserted into the supporting grooves, and wherein the filters are operated by receiving power supply, second terminal for receiving power supply is installed at the filters, and first terminal(33b) connected to the second terminal is installed at the filter case so that the first terminal is electrically connected to the second terminal according to back and forth movements of an electric dust collection type electrostatic filter.
