PURPOSE: A method for fabricating gas container is provided which not only secures airtightness of the gas container to the maximum extent even if pressure is changed after recharging gas in the container, but also simply separately connects a valve body to an upper cap by screw connection without welding. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a container body fabrication process of fabricating a tubular container body fabricated in such a way that the container body has the same diameter and certain length; an upper cap fabrication process of fabricating an upper cap(20) formed in such a way that the upper side of the upper cap is getting narrower while the lower side of the upper cap is gradually getting wider, and on an outer part of which a bent rib is formed, wherein a connection groove(24) is formed on the center of the upper cap in such a manner that the connection groove is depressed so that a screw part is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the connection groove, and a valve body(210) is screw connected to the screw part; a lower cap fabrication process of fabricating a lower cap(30) which is formed in such a shape that the lower cap is curved from the upper and to the lower side, and on an outer part of which a bent rib is formed; and an upper and lower cap welding process of connecting the upper cap to the lower cap by welding the outer surface of the container body to an end of the bent ribs of the upper and lower caps folded to the outer surface of the container body by seaming operation after performing seaming operation on upper and lower parts of the body(10) of the container in such a manner that the bent ribs of the upper cap and lower cap cover the inner and outer surfaces of the container body.
