PURPOSE: An orientation film forming method using an orientation film forming device is provided to form orientation films through an inkjet system, and to shift an inkjet head to drop an orientation solution, thereby forming the orientation films having a uniform thickness and reducing a material cost. CONSTITUTION: Orientation films are formed by dropping an orientation solution(130) with the use of an orientation solution dropping unit on a mother glass(100). The orientation solution dropping unit consists of an inkjet head(120) for directly dropping the orientation solution to the substrate(100), an orientation solution supplier for supplying the orientation solution(130) to the inkjet head(120), and a connection wiring portion for connecting the inkjet head(120) with the orientation solution supplier. The inkjet head(120) is composed of at least more than one head(120a). Plural holes are formed in each head(120a).
