摘要 PURPOSE: A method for driving a liquid crystal display panel is provided to reduce power consumption in comparison with a conventional dot inversion or a conventional vertical two-dot inversion type. CONSTITUTION: A method for driving a liquid crystal display panel includes the steps of: dividing the liquid crystal cell(20) into a plurality of liquid crystal cell blocks(B1,B2); supplying the pixel signals in such a way that the polarity patterns of each of the liquid crystal cell blocks(B1,B2) are opposite to that of the adjacent liquid cell block; the more frames pass, the more some cells of each liquid crystal cell blocks(B1,B2) have the same polarity pattern of the previous frame by constant rate, and the other cells have the polarity pattern opposite to that of the previous frame; and increasing the liquid crystal cells having the same polarity pattern of the previous frame repeatedly in each fixed number of frames.
