PURPOSE: A refrigerator with a display unit is provided to withdraw or contain the display unit in the refrigerator easily and stably by outputting the storage signals, and to minimize collision of the display unit and a movable plate by moving the movable plate into the withdrawal position in early containing the display unit in the storage case. CONSTITUTION: A door of a refrigerator is composed of a display unit and a seat part combined with the display unit. The display unit comprises a storage case(40) opened or closed and installed in the seat part, a display panel withdrawn and contained in the storage case, an operation signal generating unit, and a lift unit withdrawing or containing the display panel vertically according to signals from the operation signal generating unit. The storage case has a movable plate(50) lifting the display unit up and down to withdraw or contain, motors(46,47) generating power to move the movable plate, pinions(46a,47a) transmitting torque of the motors, and racks(48,49) moving the movable plate by converting rotation of the pinions into linear motion.
