PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and its driving method are provided to increase discharge efficiency by extending a positive column area. CONSTITUTION: According to the method for driving a plasma display panel which is driven by dividing a reset period into a setup period and a setdown period, the first ramp-up waveform is supplied to a scan electrode during the setup period. And the second ramp-up waveform is supplied to a sustain electrode formed in parallel with the scan electrode during the setup period.
