<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive for a solid polymer fuel cell, composed of a silicone rubber composition curable by addition reaction, exhibiting excellent adhesiveness to a solid electrolyte membrane composed of a polymer compound having a perfluoroalkyl group as the main chain in the bonding of the solid electrolyte membrane to an electrode and keeping stable adhesiveness over a long period by an endurance test (immersion in an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid). <P>SOLUTION: The adhesive for a solid polymer fuel cell is composed of (A) a fluorine-containing (meth or eth)acrylic monomer expressed by general formula (1), (B) a diorganopolysiloxane having an alkenyl group, (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane and (D) a silicone rubber composition containing a platinum group metal catalyst and curable by addition reaction. In the formula, X is methyl, ethyl or H; Y is F or H; and n is a natural number of 1-10. The group C<SB>n</SB>F<SB>2n</SB>has a straight chain or branched structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
