<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable sound/image reproduction system with broadcast receiving functionality in which the whole of the system is downsized, lightweight and besides power consumption is low. <P>SOLUTION: The portable sound/image reproduction system comprises a system main body 1, and a broadcast receiving unit 4 that is mounted detachably on the system main body 1. The system main body 1 is equipped with interfaces 32, 33 for connecting the broadcast receiving unit, a voice processing circuit 22 that is connected with the interface 32 and processes sound signals from outside to feed the processed signals to a speaker 24, and an image processing circuit 27 that is connected with the interface 33 and processes image signals from outside to feed the processed signals to a display 13. The broadcast receiving unit 4 is equipped with the interfaces 55, 56 that are connected with the interface 32, 33, and decoders 47, 48 for feeding the sound and image signals that are contained in received television broadcast signals to the interfaces 55, 56. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
