<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the waiting time of a customer. <P>SOLUTION: This commodity purchase support system comprises a virtual showroom which is set in every actual store to simulate the same internal state as the actual inner part of the store, a seller terminal owned by a seller of the store, and a customer terminal owned by the customer, which are mutually connected through a communication line. This system further comprises a reporting means for reporting, on receipt of an access from the customer terminal to the virtual showroom, this access information to the seller terminal. Accordingly, since the access information is reported to the seller of the store in the access from the customer terminal to the virtual showroom, the seller can rapidly prepare a business negotiation, so that the business negotiation can be started at a time desired by the customer.
