<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which a visually handicapped operator also can grasp the progress state of operation. <P>SOLUTION: Image forming devices 1-3 are respectively provided with vibration members 10, 11, 12 capable of transmitting vibration to the outer surface of a casing on a position which can be touched with operator's hands, control means 14, 15, 16 for applying vibration of prescribed vibration patterns to the vibration members 10, 11, 12 and a detection means 17 for detecting a progress state of image forming operation.
