<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation managing method and system for simplifying operation management by displaying operation contents in an operation management chart such as emergency countermeasures in a well-balanced status. <P>SOLUTION: In this operation management system, an operation schedule chart 100 is divided into a plurality of display areas 105 to 108 along a horizontal axis(time axis), and different time zones are made to correspond to those areas. Then, operation items to be executed in the corresponding time zones are displayed in those respective display areas, and the processing of operation planning, executing condition management and operation addition/erasure/edition or the like is executed. In this case, the time zone corresponding to the display area when any emergency situation occurs is made short, and the time zones are gradually made longer.
