<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pseudo random number generation circuit by which a high random number property is obtained, and a circuit configuration is difficult to be analyzed from a generated random number sequence. <P>SOLUTION: This pseudo random number generation circuit comprises: a linear feedback register provided with a plurality of registers connected in series, a first exclusive OR circuit for outputting an exclusive OR of a prescribed output of the register, and a second exclusive OR circuit for inputting an exclusive OR between input data supplied from the outside and an output signal of the first exclusive OR circuit in the first register among the plurality of registers; and a signal generation circuit for using a first clock with a fixed cycle and a second clock synchronized with the first clock and of a frequency different from that of the first clock to generate a shift clock being a clock for operating the linear feedback register and input data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
