<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Sparassis crispa frozen food having the same palate feeling and flavor as those of uncooked Sparassis crispa, and storable for quite a while. <P>SOLUTION: The Sparassis crispa frozen food is obtained through the following process: steaming harvested Sparassis crispa, or treating harvested Sparassis crispa in hot water followed by taking out the Sparassis crispa; and freezing the Sparassis crispa. The Sparassis crispa frozen food is cooked to serve a dish where Sparassis crispa is used as a raw material.
