摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce luminance irregularity of light beams being emitted without reducing emission efficiency in a light guiding plate which uses a point shaped light source. <P>SOLUTION: A light guiding plate 14 is provided with an introducing section 18 which diffuses incident light beams and a plate shaped lighting section 19 which is continuously formed to the section 18 and has a light emitting surface 19a that emits introduced light beams and a reflection surface 19b that is formed on the opposite side of the surface 19a. The section 18 is formed in a symmetrical shape which is spread out from an opposite lighting section side to the section 19 and has a light incident section 20 on the opposite lighting section. The section 20 is placed opposite to a point shaped light source 15 and has a constitution in which a flat surface 20a, that is parallel to a surface 24 extended along the width direction of the section 18, and a V-shaped groove 20b, that diffuses the the light beams from the point shaped light source, are mutually repeated at an equal interval.
