<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ingredient hole-forming apparatus for forming a rice ball ingredient hole in a rice ball production machine, designed to facilitate ingredient-inserting operation by forming an ingredient hole of a specified size without pressing boiled rice along with producing high-quality rice ball. <P>SOLUTION: The ingredient hole-forming apparatus for rice ball production machine works as follows: In a molding hole 1 bored in an intermittently turning molding disk 2 where boiled rice is held, in forming a specified ingredient hole, there is provided a vertically movable ingredient-forming rod 5 with a sectional area smaller than that of the ingredient hole and the ingredient hole is formed while eccentrically turning the rod 5 and boring so as to raise the boiled rice along the inner wall of the molding hole 1, wherein the boiled rice is not pressed downward as little as possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
