<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted unit for an ETC capable of unfailingly preventing a vehicle from entering an ETC gate in a state that a portable device necessary for communicating with the ETC gate side is not connected to a vehicle-mounted device. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle-mounted unit 1 for an ETC is equipped with a vehicle-mounted device 2 and an IC card 3 connected to the vehicle-mounted device 2 in a freely removable manner. The vehicle-mounted unit 1 comprises an RF module 21 for communicating with the ETC gate side when the vehicle passes through the ETC gate, in a state that the IC card 3 is connected to the vehicle-mounted device 2, and an audio warning part 24 that outputs by voice the state of connection of the IC card 3 to the vehicle-mounted device 2 when the vehicle approaches the ETC gate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
