PURPOSE: An one-touch driving apparatus of a navigation system using a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to obtain easily a path guide service by providing a total destination setup process with one-touch method. CONSTITUTION: A path guide calling operation is performed automatically if a voice input button is pushed during a longer time than a setup time(510). A traffic information calling operation is performed automatically if a voice input button is pushed during a shorter time than a setup time(520). The path guide calling operation is performed though a voice input process condition is set up automatically(530). A message including a question of the path guide information is displayed on a screen if the voice input process condition is set up manually(540). A voice input menu is displayed again if a user selects "No"(550). The user is connected with an information center to receive the path guide information if a user selects "Yes"(560,570).
