PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL CAPABLE OF CONTROLLING ACCURATELY WALL CHARGES BY PERFORMING RAPIDLY RESET PROCESS

摘要

PURPOSE: A plasma display panel for controlling accurately wall charges by performing rapidly a reset process is provided to improve the control accuracy of wall charges by reducing voltage applied to the inside of a discharge space while a discharge progresses. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(15) is electrically connected to a voltage supply part through a switch(S1). A second electrode(16) is electrically connected to a ground voltage part. A plurality of dielectric layers(20,30) are formed in each inside of the first electrode and the second electrodes. A discharging gas is injected between the dielectric layers. A discharging space(40) is formed between the dielectric layers. The thickness of the first dielectric layer is equal to the thickness of the second dielectric layer.
