<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusion protein that enables effective dental caries prevention, an anticarious antibody preparation and a protein preparation by producing an antibody against S. sobrinus (one of main pathogenic bacteria that form dental caries nidus). <P>SOLUTION: A fusion protein is prepared that includes the alanine recurring area of polymeric cell body surface layer protein and the glucan bond area of the glucan synthetase. The resultant fusion protein is given to a mammalian animal to collect the antibody against the fusion protein.
