<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implant and its manufacturing method regarding an artificial dental root, an artificial bone, an artificial joint, and the like, which is shock absorptive and able to be fixed firmly in a living body. <P>SOLUTION: This implant comprises a base material, a membrane formed on the base material, made from polymers, and been equipped with, on its surface, a functional group that can absorb calcium ions, and a layer made of calcium phosphate formed on the membrane. In this manufacturing method, the membrane is soaked in a calcium ion solution and further in a calcium phosphate solution after forming the membrane on the base material.
