<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical distributor for subscribers, which is applied to a combined service of broadcasting and telecommunications in an FTTH optical transmission network. <P>SOLUTION: The optical distributor for subscribers has an optical transceiver 41, a broadcasting/telecommunications signal distributor 42, a broadcasting interface 43, and a telecommunications interface 44. The optical transceiver 41 receives an optical signal for time division multiplex broadcasting/telecommunications and converts it from an optical signal to an electric signal. The optical transceiver also transmits an uplink signal from a subscriber by converting it from an electric signal to an optical signal. The broadcasting/telecommunications signal distributor 42 receives the broadcasting/telecommunications signal that has been converted and transmitted by the optical transceiver, which is transmitted by dividing it into a broadcasting signal and a telecommunications signal. The broadcasting interface 43 receives and outputs the broadcasting signal transmitted by the broadcasting/telecommunications signal distributor. The telecommunications interface 44 receives and outputs the telecommunications signal transmitted by the broadcasting/telecommunications signal distributor.
