<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device wherein an optical pickup device provided with a plurality of lasers is miniaturized and made thin and lightweight, and the adjustment range of an electric signal from an output power monitoring unit for controlling output power of each laser is expanded, and further a stable APC operation is attained for each laser. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with one output monitoring unit 20 for outputting an electric signal in response to the quantity of received light by receiving laser lights λ1, λ2 being a part of an optical beam emitted from a light source, an electronic switch SWλ1 corresponding to the laser light λ1, for switching the same to on/off in response to a laser switching signal, an electronic switch SWλ2 corresponding to the laser light λ2, for switching the same to on/off with a signal obtained by inverting the laser switching signal in an inverter circuit 19, and output adjusting volumes VRλ1, VRλ2 individually connected to the electronic switches SWλ1, SWλ2 for adjusting the voltage of the electric signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
