<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control the number of average processing for a correlation value of a received signal and a reference signal. <P>SOLUTION: If average processing is not conducted, a correlation value of a path will be buried in noise, because a lower limit TH_A of a correlation level of a path timing distribution is larger than an upper limit value TH_B of a correlation level of a timing distribution in which a path does not exist. Accordingly, since it is enough if an average processing is conducted until it becomes TH_A>TH_B, the average processing is finished at the point.
