PURPOSE: Hood hinge structure of a vehicle for protecting a pedestrian is provided to obtain the impact absorbing space and to prevent transmission of reaction force to the pedestrian by moving a hood arm downward in bumping the pedestrian into the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A hood(2) covers an engine room of a vehicle and turns by fixing a hood arm(4) to the hood. A hood bracket(5) is combined with the hood arm by a hinge pin(10), and installed to the vehicle body. The hinge pin is composed of a first hinge part(11) combined with the hood bracket, a second hinge part(12) combined with the hood arm, and a connecting part combining the first hinge part with the second hinge part. The first hinge part is fastened to the hood bracket, and the second hinge part is turned and inserted to the hood arm and placed higher than the first hinge part.
