PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a decoration using color rice straws and cereal is provided to decorate a room according to taste at very little cost. CONSTITUTION: Formalin is mixed with water at 1 to 5%. Rice straws are soaked and heated for 30 minutes at a temperature of 40 to 50deg.C to thus be dyed in a desired color. The resultant color straws cut at 5 to 10mm using a typical cutting device and one selected from the group consisting of chaff, millet, indian millet, Perilla japonica, etc. are put into a mold along with a FRP transparent resin at a 1:1 ratio, and then pressed by a press. If the resultant materials start to harden, they are pressed and hardened for about 10 minutes, and then removed from the mold.
