PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing an electric leakage is provided to intercept an electric leakage to the outside of a post at the high-humidity condition, to install and maintain with low expenses and to prevent the damage of a post. CONSTITUTION: In a post extended and installed from the ground for supporting a light of the appointed height and supplying power, the apparatus for preventing an electric leakage(40) contains: an insulating member having an outer side and an inner side made with insulation materials, inserted and installed to the inside of the post; many projections(41) formed on the outer side of the insulation member; an installation unit(42) for a power supply device, such as a leakage cutoff, a control box and a stabilizer, formed on the inner side of the insulation member; and a grounding hole(45) for connecting a grounding wire from the post to the ground.
