PURPOSE: An audio system having an audio signal processor and a method for sharing an audio connection port are provided to offer convenience to a user by allowing the single audio connection port to be connected with an unspecified audio device. CONSTITUTION: The audio connection port(10) is connected with the audio devices having different impedance. An audio controller(30) is interconnected with the audio connection port through multiple audio signal lines, has multiple audio signal terminals(16) corresponding to the audio devices, and processes the audio signal inputted/output through the audio signal terminal by the audio signal processor. An impedance comparator(20) detects/compares the impedance of the audio connection port connected to the audio device with a reference impedance. Multiple buffer output parts(22,24) connect the audio connection port with the audio signal terminal corresponding to the connected audio device depending on an output result of the impedance comparator by installing to each audio signal line.
