SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR PROVIDING A SERVICE OF MELODY CREATED BY USER, PARTICULARLY FOR ALLOWING A USER TO PERSONALLY CREATE A MELODY AND USE IT AS A MELODY OF A MOBILE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing a service of a melody created by a user are provided to increase users' interest by allowing a user to create a melody to his/her taste and use it as a bell sound of a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A network connection unit(210) connected with a communication network receives a service subscription request from a mobile terminal or from a fixed line terminal. A user management unit(220) manages information of a user who subscribes as a member and authenticates the mobile/fixed line terminals connected to a user created melody service server(200). A melody editing unit(230) edits a melody received from the mobile/fixed line terminals suitably according to a type of the mobile terminal provided by a client information management server. A melody reproducing unit(240) provides an edited melody to the mobile/fixed line terminals for user's pre-listening. A charging generation unit(250) generates charging information with respect to the use of the user created melody service. A database(270) stores the user information, the user created melody, the mobile terminal type information and the like.
