PURPOSE: An ionizing apparatus and a discharge electrode rod thereof are provided to improve flexibility of determining distance between discharge electrodes by employing an electrode rod including a long case. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of discharge electrodes, each which is being separated each other, are arranged in a longitudinal direction of a case(101). A high voltage power source(104) is arranged on an upper region of the case. A control unit(105) is installed in a line to the longitudinal direction of the case with respect to the high voltage power source at the upper region of the case. An air passage is provided on a lower region of the case and isolated from the air contained in the case. An electrode cap maintains the respective discharge electrodes. A support member has an independent air passage for exhausting the air supplied from the air passage to an outside.
