PURPOSE: A method for controlling an organic light emitting diode display and a display using the same are provided to compensate light output variation due to fatigue by adjusting a power applying voltage of an OLED display over time. CONSTITUTION: An organic light emitting diode(OLED) display includes a plurality of organic light emitting diodes(OLED)(212a) having an anode and a cathode. The OLED has a constant current source(214a) between an individual cathode and a ground, and the anode of the OLED is connected to a positive power supply in common. According to the method, voltage drop on both sides of the constant current source is measured, and the measured voltage drop is used as a display for light output of the OLED. And the power supply is increased to compensate the reduction of the measured voltage drop.
