INPUT DEVICE ARRANGING SENSOR CELLS IN MATRIX SHAPE, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR DRIVING INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE: An input device arranging sensor cells in a matrix shape, an electronic device, and a method for driving the input device are provided to reduce increase of processing information and plan simplification of a processing system. CONSTITUTION: A selecting means(170) reads detection information from the sensor cells by multiple field scanning and extracts the detection information to be processed by partially specifying the sensor cell. The selecting means comprises a preprocessing means(172) and a post-processing means(174). The preprocessing means determines the next cell to be specified by reading the detection information from all sensor cells through the first field scanning. The post-processing means extracts the detection information from the specified cell through the second field scanning.
