PURPOSE: A washing machine having a silver solution generating unit is provided to install the silver solution generating unit without changing the structure of a body by separably combining the silver solution generating unit between a water supply valve assembly and a water supply guide member. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine is composed of a water supply guide member(20) installed at a body and mounted with an inlet port(21,22,23); a silver solution generating unit(40) having an inlet port(52a,52b,52c) and an outlet port(51a,51b,51c) to generate a silver solution; and a water supply valve assembly(10) for controlling the supply of the water fed from the outside of the body into the body and having an outlet port(10a,10b,10c). The silver solution generating unit is separably combined between the water supply valve assembly and the water supply guide member. The outlet port of the water supply valve assembly is selectively joined to the inlet port of the water supply guide member or the inlet port of the silver solution generating unit.
