<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video distribution server capable of efficiently distributing advertisement data to viewers to obtain an extremely high propaganda effect, when video data such as the broadcast scenery of a radio program are distributed, and a video distribution method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A video distribution server 1 comprises a video data acquisition means 13 for acquiring video data, an advertisement data storage means 11 for storing a plurality of advertisement data, and a schedule storage means 12 for storing distribution schedules for the plurality of advertisement data stored in the advertisement data storage means 11. A distribution schedule stored in the schedule storage means 12 is acquired by a video distribution means 14. According to the acquired distribution schedule, the advertisement data are acquired from the advertisement data storage means 11. The acquired advertisement data are distributed to a client terminal 3.
