<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing operation capable of stably carrying paper to a second electrophotographic printer at predetermined speed, even if carrying speed of the paper carried from the first electrophtographic printer to a connecting device is different depending on printing modes. <P>SOLUTION: In this device, the paper is discharged from the first electrophotographic printer at different speed within a connecting device for connecting the first electrophotographic printer and the second electrophotographic printer.
