In particular, alcohol is brought into contact with tertiary olefins-containing C4- and/or C5-hydrocarbon fraction in presence of molded ionite catalyst in reaction unit comprising reaction-rectification reactor, wherein catalyst is charged into reaction zone of reaction-rectification reactor by layers, height of each layer not exceeding reaction zone diameter.
