FIELD: lifting and transportation facilities. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to clamshells designed for taking samples of bottom ground. Proposed clamshell contains articulated scoops 1, stops to limit maximum angle of scoop opening, scoop opening mechanism made in form of two flexible links 9 with rings 10 on lower ends of links. Scoops are furnished with hooks 3 with pins 4 on which rings are fitted in operation. Scoop closing mechanism is made in from of levers 5 interacting through hanger with load-lifting wire rope. Each scoop closing lever is rigidly secured on upper part of scoop, being arranged at other side of axis of symmetry of clamshell and connected by free end with hanger of load-lifting wire rope by means of flexible link. ^ EFFECT: possibility of taking samples of bottom ground with minimum destruction of natural structure. ^ 2 dwg |
