Cooling system (1) receives a feed of water via an electrically-operated valve (2) that is fitted with a third backup magnetic electro-valve (EV3). Third valve is located between the valve (V) inlet (3) and the first (EV1) and second (EV2) valve inlets. Regulation and control system (8-10) is coupled to the third valve (EV3) so that it may be opened or closed with a time delay following the opening closing action of the first and second valves.
