<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera carrying out serial shots at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with first and second photographing sections 11, 12 each of which is provided with a photographing lens and a CCD image sensor. In a high speed serial shot mode wherein the serial shots are carried out at a high speed, the first and second photographing sections 11, 12 alternately carry out photographing and provide the output of image data obtained by the photographing so that the output timings of the image data do not overlap.
