VARIABLE CAPACITY ROTARY COMPRESSOR

A variable displacement rotary compressor is provided to smoothly lubricate between an eccentric member and rollers by continuously supplying oil between the eccentric member and rollers regardless of an angle formed between a rotary shaft and the eccentric member. A housing has a pair of compression chambers different in displacement. A rotary shaft(40) transmits rotary power to the pair of compression chambers from a driving device generating rotary power. A pair of eccentric parts(41,42) are formed at an outer surface of the rotary shaft, being eccentric to the rotary shaft. An eccentric member(50) has a pair of eccentric bushes(51,52) mounted at the outside of the pair of eccentric parts to relatively rotate within a certain angle with the rotary shaft. The eccentric member executes compression or compression release while being eccentric or eccentricity-released according to a change in rotary direction of the rotary shaft. A pair of rollers are rotatively installed at outer surfaces of the pair of eccentric bushes. A main oil passage(44) is formed at the rotary shaft in an axial direction for guiding oil gathered at a lower part of the housing in an axial direction. Branch oil passages(45a,45b) are branched from the main oil passage and have ends placed at the outer peripheral surface of the eccentric parts for discharging oil out of the eccentric parts. Through holes(54a,54b) pass through the eccentric bushes for making oil discharged from the branch oil passages flow to the rollers and are opposite to the ends of the branch oil passages according to an angle formed between the rotary shaft and the eccentric member. Oil guide grooves(46a,46b) are formed to make oil discharged from the branch oil passages flow in a circumference direction of the rotary shaft.
