APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR READING BAR-CODE IN VEHICLES PAINTING LINE SYSTEM

An apparatus and method for reading a bar-code in a vehicle painting line system is provided to exactly read the bar-code formed by punching a bar or space in a predetermined plate such as steel. A truck(10) travels a corresponding line by fixing cars which are being produced. A sensor(20) is located in a predetermined location of the truck(10) and senses the entering or passing truck(10). A steel bar-code(30) is attached on a predetermined location. A bar-code reader(40) reads information on the steel bar-code(30). A system controller(50) controls action of every element.
