<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation support system which has high time resolution and makes it easy to confirm the position of an insert tool inside a subject's body, and, in addition, to confirm the progress of the insert tool, that is, its inserting condition. <P>SOLUTION: This operation support system has an X-ray tomographic imaging device for navigation of an insert tool in the subject's body for acquiring tomographic images of the subject laid on the top plate of a bed.
