<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement method and a settlement device by which a consumer easily performs settlement utilizing electronic business transaction even without directly visiting a store, etc. when he/she goes out. <P>SOLUTION: The settlement method comprises: an information receiving step for receiving transaction information at least including interested party information regarding required commerce, information on the object of transaction, and price information on the object from an electronic commerce site via a communication line 14 using an electronic commerce terminal 4 installed to be usable by public; an information display step for displaying the received transaction information using the information display means 12 of the electronic commerce terminal; a payment processing step for performing payment processing that a user pays price for desired commerce in advance through the electronic commerce terminal 4 on the basis of the displayed transaction information; and a transmitting step for transmitting that advance payment settlement is completed by the payment processing to the electronic commerce site through the communication line 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
